The Lloyd CV is an Austro-Hungarian mixed biplane reconnaissance aircraft from the First World War. The entry into service took place in 1917. The planes were powered by Austro-Daimler (185KM) or Benz (220KM) engines. The Lloyd CV is one of the most interesting-looking planes from the First World War. Built by the Hungarian Lloyd factory, this aircraft had a fuselage and wings covered with mahogany plywood. According to the Austro-Hungarian tradition, these planes rarely wore camouflage paint, which resulted in a very interesting appearance. Pilots and mechanics in Poland called this plane "Veneer" and "Kogucik", precisely because of its appearance and color. The structure itself was quite brittle and caused frequent cracking of the fuselage during hard landings. In total, by the end of the war, 144 machines of this type had been built at the Lloyd and WKF plants. Technical data: length: 6.85m, wingspan: 11m, height: 2.86m, maximum speed: 178km / h, rate of climb: 3.9m / s, maximum range: 250km, maximum ceiling 5000m, armament: fixed - 2 8mm Schwarzlose machine guns, suspended, up to 90 kg of bombs.
