The Kawasaki Ninja ZX-7R (another name: ZXR-750) is a Japanese sports motorcycle that was first presented to the public in 1989. At the same time, its serial production started and lasted until 2003. The motor belongs to the Kawasaki Ninja motorcycle family.

The ZX-7R model was created and put into production in order to strengthen Kawasaki's position in the sports motorcycle segment, as well as to replace the GPX750R model in the company's commercial offer. Compared to its predecessor, it differs mainly in the improved power unit, which is still a water-cooled 4-cylinder engine with a capacity of 748 cm3, but which generates more maximum power and provides better dynamics. The structure of the motorcycle was also strengthened, and its frame was made of aluminum and steel. The weight of the vehicle was reduced from 223 to 210 kilograms.
