The ATF Dingo is a modern, four-wheeled German armored car. It is powered by a single 222hp diesel engine. . The vehicle is armed with a single 7.62mm MG3 machine gun.
ATF Dingo is manufactured by Krauss-Maffei Wegmann (KMW) on the chassis of a Unimog truck, which reduces development costs. Dingo is characterized by increased resistance to a land mine explosion (V-shaped chassis), it also provides protection against small-caliber weapons and artillery fragments. Since 2008, vehicles of this type have been equipped with a remote-controlled machine gun position, borrowed from another Bundeswehr car - Fennka. Currently, there are two variants of the car available: the basic Dingo 1 and Dingo 2, which have reinforced armor and a higher load capacity - up to 4 tons. Dingo has been exported to several countries, including Austria, Belgium, the Czech Republic and Norway.
