This kit allows you to recreate highly realistic rust effects at scale on models and miniatures. Suitable for modeling and crafts.
1. Apply the special acrylic paint (AK 11266 Iron Effect) with a brush on the piece where the effect is desired.
2. Once dry, apply the Oxidizing Agent (AK 11268 Oxidizing Agent)* over the paint.
3. Let it sit for a while to see the final effect as the oxidation occurs due to a natural reaction with air.
* The Oxidizing Agent can be diluted with water to achieve more subtle results on the pieces. The effect can be completed with pigments or other products to obtain greater chromatic richness.
